2025 CCC Messiah Singer Registration

This page is used to register singers for the 2025 Cary Community Choir performance of Handel’s Messiah.

The CCC board reluctantly concluded that the popularity of this annual Cary tradition has expanded beyond the capabilities of the performance space of our venue. We’re instituting a policy that we hope will allow the maximum number of interested singers to participate while fitting into our venue.

• The form on this page will be used for registration. You will receive a response in 48 hours or less indicating that either your reservation was accepted or, if we’re at capacity, you were placed on a first come, first served waiting list. If you haven’t received a response by this time, we strongly suggest that you follow up through one of the contacts listed below to insure successful registration. If you’re interested in singing, register as soon as possible to lock in a place in the choir. Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of accommodating prospective singers who plan to just show up on the first rehearsal, because that’s what they’ve done in the past.
• Rehearsal attendance is key. We know that stuff happens, but if you’re going to miss a rehearsal, please let us know so we know you’re still planning to sing.
• It turns out that a high percentage of singers who miss the first rehearsal don’t end up singing in the performance for one reason or another. No judgement, but we will be contacting those who miss the first rehearsal without contacting us to find out if they’re still planning to attend the remaining rehearsals and participate in the performance. If we don’t get a response, that singer will be put at the end of the waitlist.
• We will continue to promote people from the wait list to the choir as the rehearsals continue, up to the dress rehearsal. If you’ve attended the minimum amount of rehearsals, you could could sing in the performance!
• Finally, if you discover that you can’t sing for some reason, please let us know so we can give the slot to someone else.

The Cary Community Choir gets most of its funding through individual donations. This money goes towards providing for the musicians, conductor, soloists, etc. The staff are all volunteers and there is no required fee to participate in the chorus.
