Yes. The expectation is that you will provide your own music. If you’re purchasing a new score, our director recommends the Watkins-Shaw Messiah, It is widely available; Amazon has it for around $10.00

We typically have three Tuesday night rehearsals plus a Saturday morning dress rehearsal. Singers are strongly encouraged to attend all rehearsals, including the dress rehearsal, if at all possible, so we can sound our very best. Let us know if you’re going to miss a rehearsal. Missing two or more rehearsals without letting us know may cause your performance slot to be given to someone else.
All: Do not wear perfume, cologne, after shave, shiny jewelry or holiday accessories
Men: Dark suit, plain white dress shirt, solid color necktie. Please no holiday themes or bright colors.
Women: Solid black skirts or pants, solid black top with at least three quarter length sleeves, black shoes.
The Cary Community Choir is open to all interested people in the Cary Area. There are no auditions. Participants should be at least 16 years old and we ask that younger prospects have at least a year’s choral experience at the high school level.”
