My name is Regina Kaiser. I have been volunteering with Cary Community Choir about 10+ years. I’ve lost count really. I’ve been fortunate to wear many hats (committee member, board member, president, seat finder) during my time with CCC. It began when my neighbor told me about CCC and asked if I’d be interested in helping the publicity committee. After that first year, I was hooked. I met great people; heard wonderful music; and made a connection to Cary that I hadn’t had before. It’s been a joy to be a part of this amazing group. I am inspired each year by your commitment, drive, and voices. 2020 is no different.
Oh wait. 2020 is different. It’s proven itself to be a year to remember (or forget) already hasn’t it? Have no fear. We’ve been busy planning (through Zoom of course) how to turn this crazy year around, to improve wherever we can, and to grow. By now you’re heard about the Virtual Choir, the new website, the commissioned song, and the 2021 trip to Carnegie Hall with Pepper directing. (Phew! That’s a lot!) Our last piece to announce is that we now have a Cary Community Blog. We’ve been wanting to have one for years. 2020 gave us the push we needed to catch up on some administrative work we needed to do. And now – we’ve got a blog.
Our blog is called “All Things CCC”. It will appear monthly. Over the year, it will cover a host of different topics. Some will be written by me, and others will be written by guest bloggers. It’s going to be a fun addition to our new website. I hope you like it!
Feel free to email us at carycommunitychoirnc@gmail.com if you have any questions or you have some topics you’d like us to cover
Thank you!
